Moderate Air (Pvt) Ltd carried out extensive and highly specialized HVAC works at Ecobank Headquarters, delivering both restoration and new system installations to a high professional standard.

The project involved the restoration of a 1200KW CIAT IX 4200X-STD R134A air-cooled chiller unit, which had experienced significant deterioration due to the corrosive marine environment. Moderate Air conducted a thorough diagnostic assessment and implemented an effective repair strategy. A key aspect of the work was the replacement of the aluminium condensers with durable marine-grade copper condensers, significantly improving the system’s resilience and long-term performance.

In addition to the chiller restoration, Moderate Air successfully executed the installation and commissioning of Midea VRF air conditioning systems across multiple critical areas of the building. These included:
• Comfort air conditioning systems
• Basement extraction systems
• Toilet extraction and ventilation systems
• Server room air conditioning systems

The project was delivered over a two-year period, during which Moderate Air worked collaboratively with the engineering team from Reclion Consulting Engineers. Their approach demonstrated strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

All systems were completed, tested, and commissioned to full operational status, and they continue to perform reliably in line with the original design and performance expectations.
